Diane L. (Bowman) Lessie, 72, of Wernersville, died June 18, 2012, in Hershey Medical Center.
Her husband, James H. Lessie, died December 2, 2008. They were married on March 7, 1959 and were married for nearly 50 years.
Born in Browns Mills, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Frederick Bowman and Mary E. (Kress) Haas.
She was a graduate of Reading High School in 1957.
Diane was employed by Arrow International for 32 years retiring in 1999.
She was a member of Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, Reading.
Diane loved reading, crossword puzzles and swimming.
She is survived by her two children, Michael J., husband of Debra L. Lessie, Douglassville and Marcia L., wife of Jeffrey M. Zillhardt. Six grandchildren, Alexander, Kathryn and Zachary Lessie and Matthew, Brian and Melissa Zillhardt also survive her.
Services will be Saturday at 11:30 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
