Glenn Alan Curtier

Glenn Alan Curtier, 56, passed away August 10, 2012 in his Centre Township residence.

He was the husband of Marlene J. (Lacombe) Curtier whom he married 32 years ago on June 22.

Born in Reading, he was a son of Benjamin and Irene (Roche) Curtier, Reading.

Glenn was a 1973 graduate of Reading High School. He attended Reading-Muhlenberg Vo-Tech for his electrical apprenticeship and took several courses at various colleges while working towards his Journeyman Electrician License.

He was employed as a Service Manager for Tyco Integrated Security, formerly ADT Commercial Security.

Glenn loved the outdoors, gardening, golfing and family vacations to Long Beach Island. He volunteered with Berks Jazz Fest for many years. He was an incredibly giving person and loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be dearly missed.

In addition to his wife and parents, Glenn is survived by his two children: Kristen L. Curtier, Leesport and Michael A. Curtier, at home. Also surviving is his sister, Eileen Dalton, Reading.

Services will be Thursday at 11:30 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Viewings will be Wednesday 5 to 8 p.m. and Thursday 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Berks County Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The American Heart Association, P.O. Box 15120, Chicago, IL 60693.
